Philadelphia Revolution vs. Philadelphia Junior Flyers Game Preview: October 5, 2013

WARMINSTER, PA - The Eastern Hockey League Philadelphia Revolution (1-4-1-0) will host the Philadelphia Junior Flyers (1-1-0-0) at The Rink at Warwick tonight at 7:00 PM.

This will the second of four meetings between the two clubs this season.  The Revolution fell in the first contest by a 4-3 score at home back on September 29.

"I feel that today's game will come down to offensive zone possession," said EHL Head Coach James Laux.  "We as a team need to continue to capitalize on high quality scoring opportunities whenever we get the puck into the attacking zone."

Last night, the Revolution lost to the New Jersey Titans by a 5-1 score.  Team captain Riley Egan scored the lone goal in the loss.

"Last night's loss to the Titans was an unacceptable perfomance put forth by our team," said Coach Laux.  "While the Titans played well, we did not compete at an acceptable level, and were unable to execute simple plays.  We cannot continue to make these mistakes, especially in tonight's game."

Revolution goaltender Jacob Caffrey will be a game-time decision for tonight's contest.  After last week's game against the Junior Flyers, he experienced concussion-like symptoms.

"Caffrey has worked out and skated recently without showing any symptoms," said Coach Laux.  "He has an impact test later today to see when he can get back out on the ice.  Right now, we have Hunter Tetreault and have called up Jared Burch from our B-team to play in net."
