EHL Revolution vs. Northern Cyclones Game Preview: October 13, 2013

WARMINSTER, PA - The Eastern Hockey League Philadelphia Revolution (2-5-1-0) will travel to Hudson, New Hampshire to take on the Northern Cyclones (3-1-0-0) Sunday morning at 9:20 AM.

This will be the first of two meetings between the two clubs this season.

"Since Sunday," said EHL Revolution Head Coach James Laux, "we have focused more on our forechecking in an attempt to create more time spent in the offensive zone.  The Northern Cyclones too are known for their strong power play, and we need to make sure we stop them from shooting the puck at the blue line."

The Revolution will be without forward Chris Connor and defenseman Mikko Kivinen.  The two will remain on the injured reserve after the minor injuries they incurred over last weekend's games.  The organization has called up forward Jeff Schaefer and defenseman Anthony Carbone from the United States Premier Hockey League Empire team.

"Schaefer will provide more speed and energy at the wing," said Coach Laux, "and Carbone will add size, stability, and physical play at the blue line and in the defensive zone."
