Revolution Seek Season Sweep against New York Applecore

WARMINSTER, PA - Today, the Eastern Hockey League Philadelphia Revolution will hit the road for Brewster, NY to take on the New York Applecore at 10:50am.

The Revolution are looking for their second win against the Applecore this season.  The last time these two teams met was back on December 1st, a 3-2 Revolution victory during the Thanksgiving EHL Showcase.

"The biggest key to our victory was [goaltender Hunter] Tetrault," said EHL Revolution Head Coach James Laux.  "His 41 saves and stellar performance in net earned him his first win of the year."

Forwards Chris Connor and Remington Woods are still out of the lineup from their respected injuries.  Forwards Steve Atkinson, Ryan Marker, and Garrett Quinn will be benched for this game.

Last weekend, the Revolution participated in the league's Thanksgiving Showcase up in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.  During the Showcase, the Revolution earned one win against the Applecore and lost both of their games against the New York Bobcats and Scranton/Wilkes Barre Knights.

"It was an up-and-down weekend," said Coach Laux.  "In the first two games, we had some trouble generating offense and playing consistent defense.  Sunday against the Applecore, we were able to overcome these obstacles and make key plays that helped us get the win."
